Fragrant drops of imagination that raises a sculpture..
Impact retained from my childhood by this sculpture Desconsol (Grief) by the sculptor Josep Llimona i Bruguera (1863-1934).
On an excursion to the Ciutadella of Barcelona, between games and slides, I went to stop in the space of the small pond, where a magical figure captivated me to this day. I didn't know at the time that it wasn't the original, nor who had done it, nor why, nor what it was called. Know the answers later, didn't expand or reduce the sensory attraction that its contemplation provokes in me. Nor did I ever sense that the retained impression, I would end up expressing it with the creation of a perfume that starts with this mysterious figure and turns it into the center of the 1900.
It took me a long time to design this perfume, basically due to the difficulty of obtaining some raw materials. Its creation, as the nature of its inspiration, it was a background work, slow and amazing. Showing itself as an explosion of forgotten nature illuminated by the coldness of a sculpture full of emotions.
The 200 ml finals that materialized this project was the longest he had done at the time.
